Through so much of my life I've put God first, I've pursued him and wanted to follow his guide for my life. I gave him control, but through most of that I haven't given it my all. I've been going to church, listening to Christian music, praying some days, reading my bible when I remember but not really realising how much more God can add to my life when I pursue him wholeheartedly. Recently some events in my life have made me realise that to really see fruit in my life, and to live life to the full, I need to set my focus fully on God and actively be involved in a relationship with him so that I can reap the huge benefits that that will bring.
The purpose of this blog is to be an outlet for the revelations I have been having and will continue to have. It will also be a place for testimony of my own, lessons I have learnt, and wisdom I have found in order to show how God truly has made us for WAY more than we could ever imagine. I also have a long term life goal of writing a book on exactly this kind of thing, so I am hoping that by getting down snippets of my thoughts now I can start to build the foundation of that book.
I am hoping this blog will be a happy place. A blog that worships God, points to him, and is also 100% real and human in admitting that I haven't got it sorted, I haven't got a blueprint for life and I have many days where I am just a bit of a mess. I want this to be a place where people can come and read for themselves about how I do life in step with God, and hopefully take away some encouragement or lesson from that. I want this to be a place where people can seek advice, love, wisdom and comfort for all the things in life.
I am still in the process of working out what this blog will look like, it will probably take some time for it to really come into its own, but for now I think it will be short posts of daily/weekly/monthly revelations that I want to share.
